About the product

As permanent spatial installations integrated into a castle building and its landscaped garden, this collection of constructive and conceptual art has made Schloss Buchberg in Lower Austria an instigator in the contemporary art scene since 1979.

A complex framework has developed, which Joerg Burger pays homage to in his film. It also includes a thoughtfully designed edition box, and along with a short accompanying text there is an essay entitled “Versuch über Buchberg” (“Trial by Buchberg”). In it, Uwe Mattheiß creates an independent counterpart to the film in language. This pictorial documentation of the Buchberg works represents a third volume in the trilogy that Eva Dranaz and Jochen Fill have shaped so carefully and cleverly.
