The Dorothea von Stetten Art Prize is presented at the Kunstmuseum Bonn every two years. The prize serves to promote the young art scenes in Germany's neighboring countries and 2024 aims at young artists from Austria. This year's prizewinners are Jojo Gronostay, Elisabeth Kihlström and Isa Schieche. By using the media of film and photography and being the head of the sustainable design label DWMC (Dead White Men's Clothes). Jojo Gronostay (*1988) deals with clothing in various functions and value systems. Elisabeth Kihlström (*1988) works with hand-woven textiles and develops site-specific installations that act as a backdrop to examine cultural codes. Isa Schieche's (*1988) art playfully appropriates social images of "femininity" and "masculinity" and traces the trans- and misogynistic shadows they cast.
