The artist Hubert Hanghofer, who is sometimes inspired by quantum physics, is particularly concerned with depicting those spaces that can no longer be experienced with the senses and that lie behind the reality of the material world.
Hubert Hanghofer creates his objects in bronze, brass or synthetic resin. He works with both traditionally coded materials and new materials. After solidification, the sculptures are ground and polished until their shiny surfaces provide a reflection surface for the light. Some objects simply rest on individual points and appear to almost overcome gravity. The use of glass as base plates and the polishing of the object surfaces emphasize the elegance and artistic fragility of the works.
