With this collection of “Elegien am Rande des Nervenzusammenbruchs”, poet Gerhard Falkner, whom Gustav Seibt described in Sueddeutsche Zeitung as “one of the most magical creators of German”, transgresses all lyrical convention and wanders deep into the interior of the mind. Falkner’s “Ignatien” are accompanied by works by artist Yves Netzhammer, 21st-century pictograms that are as unsettling as they are touching, sublime pointers to the key questions of life today.
