Nilbar Güreş works in various media such as painting, photography, film, performance, collage and drawing. She questions conventional gender roles and suggests possibilities for strengthening feminine and queer identities. Embedded in a playful irony, her artistic practice is based on subtle moments of resistance, the staging of which appears prudently radical on the fringes of everyday life. The exhibition focuses on the last five years of her work.
