On the occasion of his 80th birthday, Timm Ulrichs pauses and reviews his previous work on the basis of 100 selected exhibits, commented on by 100 authors, in Haus am Lützowplatz Berlin. The strictly formalized exhibition concept provides for its opening an empty space, which will fill one work from the following day. The exhibition, accumulating over a period of exactly 100 days, breaks with the usual conventions of the art world and twists them 180 degrees on the timeline. At the end, there is a 100-fold mystery, published in daily tranches, in the form of a book for purchase.

Ulrich's ideas have been developed since 1960 and materialized into works of art. Over time, he has created a considerable fund of which he draws again and again. He makes himself the measure of all things, explores and misses, sets himself pars pro toto for humanity in relation to society, nature and the universe.
