Take The A-Train includes paintings that were created by Viola Bittl during a 10-month studio grant from the Hessian Cultural Foundation in New York in 2017/18. In addition large-format paintings from 2018 - 2021 and installation views of the exhibitions “Jetzt! Junge Malerei in Deutschland” are shown in the book.
