The long-term performance zwischen den zeilen | die zeilen dazwischen by Judith Augustinovič and Valerie Habsburg is based on the autobiography of the Jewish artist Teresa Feodorowna Ries (1866-1956): Read aloud and written down by the two artists, 94 sheets were created, which are documented with the continuous text of the autobiography.

The artistic research around and about Ries is committed to fighting oblivion and detecting HERstory, beyond the well-known: Simone Bader, Liudmila Kirsanova and Nina Schedlmayer reflect on this in their texts.

Ries' previously erroneous biography and life story has now been corrected for the first time. Ulrike Hirhager has written a detailed chapter on the subject.
