In this artist’s book Thilo Westermann’s color pencil drawings and reverse plexi paintings are reproduced in their original size. The enlargements of details presented here correspond in terms of ratios and dot size to the large-format Diasec one-off prints that Westermann has produced after completing his reverse plexi paintings.
In addition to theoretical art essays, these illustrations of his work are also supplemented by views of exhibitions as well as images from the photo series entitled Dispositive – these oscillate between presenting real hangings of the works and faked arrangements. It was the artist himself who developed the book concept and decided the sequences of images.
